There are thousands of definitions floating around the Internet on what is a  social network and what  are the applications that drive social networking.  In  my  humble definition, a social network is a  common interface for various  communities of a common interest.  

It can be completely casual and light hearted or it can be businesslike and  serious.  But for a  story teller, social networks are a way to stay in touch  with  other storytellers, find story seeds,  share success, failure, fears,  dreams,  goals, and to have fun.
